PROVIDE A SAFE BIRTH
$30 = buys a Baby Bundle to ensure safe childbirth.

Papua New Guinea has one of the highest maternal death rates in the world. 98% of these deaths are easily preventable.

Send Hope Not Flowers works in Milne Bay Province, PNG. They gift families with a Baby Bundle to  incentivise mothers to come to a health clinic to give birth. The bundle is filled with basic supplies and includes the $5 cost for delivery at the clinic.

The Baby Bundle project is directly responsible for a 78% decrease in the maternal death rate in the region.

PROTECT A WOMAN
$50 = provides a hot meal and a safe, comfortable place to stay for 1 night.

Existing services cannot meet the demand for emergency crisis accomodation for women who are homeless or escaping domestic violence. More than 50% of women seeking shelter are turned around every night. Across Australia, this equates to over 50,000 women nightly.

Women unable to access shelters are left vulnerable, disconnected from community and support networks.

Women’s Community Shelters are  dedicated to providing women and children with a safe place to stay.

SUPPORT MENTAL HEALTH
$48 = supports 1 phone call with Beyond Blue

Around two million Australians live with anxiety, and around one million live with depression. Sadly, on average eight Australians take their lives every day.

Beyond Blue Support is available for all Australians to speak to a trained counsellor at any time.

This service is experiencing increased demand during the COVID-19 pandemic as more people reach out due to the effects of social distancing, isolation and employment insecurity.

Beyond Blue's trained mental health professionals listen, provide advice and counselling, and point people in the right direction to receive the support they need.
